HyperCash completed Post-Quantum Linkable Ring Signature code development
The HyperCash development team has completed the Post-Quantum Linkable Ring Signature code development and is entering the deployment testing phase. This algorism is based on the HCASH Chief Scientist Dr Joseph Liu ‘s publication “Post-Quantum One-Time Linkable Ring Signature and Application to Ring Confidential Transactions in Blockchain” published on IACR(International Association for Cryptologic Research).
In this version, we present a lattice-based post-quantum secure Ring CT protocol, that supports multi-input-multi-output transactions. It is a comprehensive Ring CT protocol such that it contains all necessary parts including linkable ring signature (for user anonymity), commitment scheme (for hiding transaction amount) and range proof (to ensure the hidden value is a positive amount). All parts are in a lattice-based setting, meaning that the overall protocol is post-quantum secure.
Now HyperCash will be the world’s first cryptocurrency to implement Post-quantum Ring Signature algorithms.
